Lovers Day

Since Delta works in North Dakota we tend to celebrate holidays either early or late. Some people may not think that is so ideal but I actually don’t mind it. We get to have our own day and not have to fight the crowds if we go out.

So, this past week we celebrated Valentine’s Day! We didn't make a big deal out of it but I was enjoyed it. I had Wednesday off from work and we spent a romantic day getting our taxes done, So exciting right!? Just kidding…I had actually booked us a couples massage at this spa near our house, Xhale Day Spa. Which was much need after the taxes. Usually I am not fully satisfied with my massages but this was amazing! The room was clean and comfortable, the music was relaxing, and I never felt so great afterwards. Seriously I was in heaven! And I think Delta enjoyed it. We also loved getting some Sparkling Cider and cheesecake before heading home.

But don’t worry, Delta did send me flowers on Valentine’s Days. At the beginning of our relationship, Delta asked me what my favorite flowers were, a few days later when he invited me to his place for dinner he had the most beautiful arrangement of lilies and roses. I decided right then that he was something special. And he gets me lilies and roses every valentines since.

Delta left this morning to head back to work and I always spend the day thinking about him and our week. Alright, I’m done with all the cheesyness!
